Offering In-Person Sessions for Children & Youth

Hey there, I’m Wrenna, a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) specializing in therapy for children and teens. I support young people—and when helpful, their caregivers—in navigating life transitions, emotional challenges, and mental health concerns such as anxiety, trauma, grief, neurodiversity, chronic illness (including Type 1 diabetes), and school or behavioural difficulties.

I believe that strong, supportive relationships are at the heart of healing and growth. My approach to child and youth therapy is client-centered, meaning our sessions are guided by your unique experiences, needs, and pace. I strive to create a safe, inclusive, and compassionate space where children and teens feel understood, supported, and empowered.

My work is trauma-informed, attachment-based, and emotion-focused, drawing from evidence-based therapeutic approaches to build self-awareness, emotional regulation, and resilience. I integrate play therapy and art-based interventions to support communication, processing, and skill development—especially for younger children.

With a background as a Child and Youth Worker in both school and community settings, I have extensive experience supporting children, adolescents, and families. This work has shaped my passion for helping young people build meaningful connections, strengthen their sense of self, and improve overall well-being.

If you’re looking for a child or teen therapist and feel we might be a good fit, I invite you to reach out. I look forward to connecting with you.
